ASUS x Central Computers PCDIY Event Recap

On August 23, 2025, we partnered with ASUS to bring you a PCDIY event that was perfect for PC enthusiasts of all levels right in our very own Santa Clara store. A day filled with live PC building, giveaways, games, and event-exclusive deals.

ASUSTeK Computer Inc., or more commonly known as, ASUS is a Taiwanese multinational computer, phone hardware, and electronics manufacturer. They brought the latest ROG, Prime and TUF Gaming PC components to demonstrate with a live build, featuring guest speaker, JJ.

JJ is a PR & Technical Product Marketing Manager for ASUS and has been a lifelong PCDIY enthusiast. He coordinates reviews and exposure of ASUS hardware alongside engaging with the community providing insights and guidance on ASUS products as well as helping enthusiasts get the most from their hardware and their builds and setups.

We had three outstanding sessions with JJ diving into ASUS BTF components, ASUS BIOS features, and an Armory Crate showcase. Throughout the sessions, attendees were welcome to explore the demo stations, participate in activities, and check out our store downstairs.

Typing station to try various ASUS keyboards including the newly released Falchion HFX and the premium Azoth Extreme keyboard, and attendees received a free sticker if they passed a certain WPM on MonkeyType

We kicked off the event with JJ demonstrating ASUS BTF components, how they improve the building experience and appearance, and how to build with them. In the next session, he reviewed ASUS BIOS features such as AiOC, Q-Dashboard, and their advanced fan controls and performance tuning. In the last session, we had dived into Armory Crate with ASUS AiAdvisor and finished off with Q&A.

Before we wrapped up the event, we still had Kahoot and our big raffle giveaway at the end. We hosted Kahoot for the attendees filled with 20 questions about ASUS and Central Computers. If you're great at Trivia Night, then this one's for you. The top 3 winners of the Kahoot session won an ASUS-themed Jenga game.
