Tax Information

Tax rate disclaimer:

  • Central Computers charges California statewide sales tax for online orders with a shipping address within California. Your State, County, or City may require you to pay an additional sales or use tax. Please consult the Board of Equalization for your State, County, City, and/or District for rates and instructions.

California residents are charged sales tax as follows:

  • Santa Clara county: 9.13%
  • City of Campbell and San Jose: 9.38%
  • California residents outside of Santa Clara county: 7.25%

In-store Pickup, regardless of billing and shipping address:

  • Santa Clara: 9.13%
  • Sunnyvale: 9.13%
  • East Bay: 10.75%
  • San Mateo: 9.625%
  • San Francisco: 8.6250%

In-store Pick-up

Store Pickup Process

We have five convenient store locations ready to serve you: Santa Clara, San Francisco, East Bay, Sunnyvale, and San Mateo.

Please ensure you have the following items when picking up your order at any of our stores:

  a) A government-issued photo ID, such as a Driver's License.

  b) The credit card used for the order.

  c) For corporate orders, a properly identified company employee may collect the order.

Note: To enhance safety and minimize contact, we are implementing additional precautionary measures. For store pickups, liquid hand sanitizer will be available at the card reader station, and we will regularly disinfect the card machine to protect the well-being of all individuals involved.

Special Orders (Out of Stock) Items

Special order items are not readily available for immediate pickup in our stores and require shipment to your chosen store location.

Typically, these items arrive at the store within 2 to 7 business days.

Please note, if the "Add-to-Cart" button is unavailable, this indicates that the item is temporarily not available for special order.

For assistance with placing a special order or for personalized recommendations, feel free to contact the store where you wish to pick up the product. Our knowledgeable staff will be happy to assist you.

Please Note:

  • The estimated time of arrival of shipping times to our stores may vary.
  • In rare cases, the item you've ordered may no longer be produced by our vendors. If this happens, we'll inform you promptly and issue a full refund.
  • Check Item Inventory

    Our online inventory updates once per day at midnight. Our inventory does not update in real-time. For real-time inventory, please contact your store location through the Store Locations page or LiveChat.

    This is how to check what items are currently in stock and at which stores. When you see a product on our website, there is a blue checkmark in a circle next to the words "In Store (view)" and, if you hover over view, you can see the quantity of that product and which store(s) it is located at.

    Price Match Policy

    Our price match policy is designed to offer you competitive pricing while ensuring we can sustain our high-quality service. Here's how it works:

  • Price Match Consideration: While we don't offer a formal price match guarantee, we're often willing to match prices that exceed our cost for the product. Should the competitor's price fall below our cost, we'll still match it down to what we paid, taking into account any credit card processing fees.
  • Eligible Retailers: We match prices from select reputable retailers, namely Amazon, Newegg, and Best Buy. Please note, products sold by third-party sellers on these platforms are not eligible for price matching.
  • Availability: The item must be available for immediate shipment. Products with shipping or arrival dates exceeding 5 days from the order date do not qualify for price matching.
  • We aim to provide you with the best value on your purchases while maintaining the integrity of our product and service offerings.

    Get 10% Off Services and Repairs ONLY! (Please Note: This discount doesn't apply to product purchases.)

    For Students & Faculty:

    • - Show your valid student or faculty ID.
    • - Applies to high school (from 9th grade) and university students, plus faculty members.

    For Military Personnel:
