iFixit Game Console Toolkit
Game Console Toolkit
Make your console feel next gen again. Or keep the retro vibes going with a custom mod!
The Game Console Toolkit is built for optimal console repair on modern hardware and retro classics alike. Whether you’re servicing an Xbox or a PlayStation, a Steam Deck or vintage Nintendo consoles, a 16-bit driver kit and specialty opening and cleaning tools were curated specifically to keep you in the game.
At the core is the Game Console Driver Kit, designed around the screws actually found in game consoles. Gamebits open original Nintendo cartridges and housings. Tri-point bits get you inside a Switch. Torx Security bits handle Xbox controllers. Joy-Con drift taking you on unwanted side quests? Broken disc drive? This kit has the bits to press R to revive. A precision cleaning brush assortment, compact metal spudger, angled tweezers, and opening picks will get you in and keep things clean. And the all-in-one organized roll is eminently portable and even has a dedicated slot for your next upgrade: the Thermal Performance Kit (available separately) helps your console handle the heat.
Drift happens. Don’t replace, repair.
