NINJA FX RAIDEN

RAIDEN is the fastest pad in ARTISAN's NINJA FX lineup. Its surface is densely knitted from unusually thin polyester yarn, producing a silk-like glide that feels closer to a hard pad than cloth. Initial movement is nearly effortless and the pad holds that speed uniformly across the entire surface, which is exactly what tracking-heavy aimers want: nothing catching or dragging mid-correction while your crosshair stays glued to a moving target.

Physical characteristics

RAIDEN's yarn is thinner and more densely knitted than anything else in the ARTISAN lineup, so the weave almost disappears under your fingertips. There's very little texture feedback through the mouse, and both static and kinetic friction are low, meaning the pad takes almost no effort to start moving and doesn't slow you down mid-swipe. Glide feel stays uniform across X and Y axes, and that consistency is what makes RAIDEN excel at tracking: with no texture grabbing the skates mid-motion, long smooth corrections and small mid-track adjustments stay fluid instead of stuttering. The trade-off is braking. Unlike HIEN, the surface doesn't bite into your skates when you decelerate, so stopping comes from your own arm control and from pressing into the 4 mm Soft base, which cushions and grabs under pressure.
