NINJA FX HAYATE OTSU V2

HAYATE OTSU is ARTISAN's flagship surface and the balanced pick of the NINJA FX lineup. The jacquard-woven polyester has a fine, grainy texture that pairs a quick glide start with dependable stopping power, handling flicks and tracking equally well. The V2 update weaves conductive threads into the surface to keep the glide consistent in dry, low-humidity rooms where static builds up on cloth pads.

Physical characteristics

HAYATE OTSU V2's jacquard weave gives the surface a fine, grainy, slightly matte texture. Initial movement is quick, but the glide stays controllable rather than icy, and the texture gives you a real sense of where your mouse is without feeling abrasive. The weave is also designed to keep X and Y friction close together, so horizontal and vertical swipes feel more alike than they do on HIEN. The V2 update adds conductive threads, the same material used in KEY-83, which cut static buildup and dust cling. In normal humidity it feels the same as the original; in dry or air-conditioned rooms the glide stays noticeably more consistent. The 4 mm Soft base adds comfort for long sessions and extra stopping power when you press into it.
