SURFACE FEEL
HIEN’s cloth uses a hardened, rough “pear-skin” style weave. Glide is noticeably faster than ZERO and most control pads, but the heavy texture gives very strong feedback so you always know where your mouse is on the pad. It’s excellent for wide swings, dynamic flicks, and quick corrections.
SOFT BASE
The 4 mm Soft base is moderately soft, helping tame the rough cloth and adding comfort for long sessions. You can press in for extra stopping power without the pad feeling mushy or unstable. The non slip rubber underside keeps HIEN planted even during aggressive flicks and fast arm aiming.

CHOOSING BETWEEN ZERO AND HIEN
Central Computers currently carries two ARTISAN cloth pads:
- ZERO Soft XL (Black) – balanced control, smoother feel, easy to recommend for most players.
- HIEN Soft XL (Red) – faster glide, stronger texture feedback, better for very dynamic flicks and tracking.
Pick ZERO if you want something safe and versatile. Pick HIEN if you already prefer a faster, higher-feedback surface.
