NINJA FX HIEN

HIEN is ARTISAN's fast, textured cloth surface with the roughest weave in their NINJA FX lineup. The hardened polyester creates fine bumps across the cloth that give pronounced tactile feedback while still allowing a quick initial glide. Despite the speed, the rough surface provides confident stopping power when you decelerate.

HIEN's surface is the roughest in the ARTISAN lineup. The hardened weave creates fine bumps across the cloth that you can feel through the mouse and under your palm. Initial movement is fast and sharp, but the texture bites into mouse skates as you decelerate, giving strong braking feedback without the slow, muddy feel of a dedicated control pad. HIEN has the largest X-Y speed difference of any ARTISAN pad, so horizontal and vertical movements don't feel identical. The 3 mm Mid base is firmer and thinner than the Soft, so HIEN's rough texture comes through even more directly and the glide stays consistent under pressure instead of sinking in. You trade some cushioned braking for a slightly faster, more uniform feel.
