HP Warranty Repair
Central Computers is an HP Authorized Repair Facility and can provide warranty repair services for HP Chromebook issues.
Covered Models:
All HP Chromebooks are covered under the standard 1 year warranty and are able to be repaired by Central Computers. LGUSD models include the HP Chromebook G5, HP Chromebook G6 (extended warranty, see below), and HP Chromebook G7.
If you own a HP Chromebook G6 shown below, your warranty was extended for 1 year:
To determine if your Chromebook qualifies for this service, you must be able to answer YES to both questions below:
• Was your HP G6 Chromebook purchased less than 2 years ago?
• Is your HP G6 Chromebook issue a manufacturer defect or mechanical failure that is not the result of accidental damage?
In this situation, Central Computers will be able to perform the repair for you at no charge.

Repair times will vary depending on the issue with your Chromebook and whether replacement parts need to be ordered. Our technicians in store will be able to provide an update to you once the Chromebook has been checked in and evaluated in person.
Loaner Units
If you need access to a Chromebook while your repair is being processed, Fisher Middle School may be able to provide a loaner unit.
