TYPE-99 is ARTISAN's dedicated control pad and the slowest cloth surface in their NINJA FX lineup. It uses a water absorbing, quick dry yarn that keeps the glide consistent through sweat and humidity, and the circular knit polyester surface provides maximum stopping power for low sensitivity players.

Physical characteristics

The top of the cloth has a plush, almost microfiber feel under your palm, which is a pleasant surprise given how grippy the surface actually is. The circular knit weave gives the pad its teeth, so starting a movement takes a small push and stopping is almost automatic. The more pressure you put into the 4 mm Soft base, the harder it grabs the skates. Water absorbing, quick dry yarn keeps the feel consistent even during long sessions when your hands get sweaty.
