Physical characteristics

KEY-83's hexagonal weave gives the surface a uniform texture that feels similar in every direction you move the mouse. That consistency is the main difference from pads like HIEN, where horizontal and vertical movements have noticeably different speeds. The surface sits in the middle of the ARTISAN speed range with moderate texture and a smooth glide that doesn't fight you. Conductive threads woven into the cloth reduce static electricity buildup, which is a real issue in dry or air-conditioned rooms where static can cause momentary drag on the skates. The 4 mm Soft base adds comfort and stopping power when you press into it.
