Z690 Motherboard
There are variants of the motherboard. One for DDR4 and one for DDR5.

CPU Cooler
Each manufacturer will be providing their own LGA1700 bracket update. We will update the table below as soon as we got information on how customers can get the new bracket for their existing CPU cooler. We will also be selling compatible kits from the manufacturers and will be updating the table below as we receive them.

Will the CPU be compatible with DDR4 memory?
Yes, it will be compatible with both DDR4 and DDR5. There will be some motherboard models that use DDR4 and others that use DDR5. You must verify the board you get is compatible with the correct type of RAM.
When will DDR5 be available?
Currently, we are slowly getting small batches from time to time, available to purchase with bundle of one(1) compatible CPU and one(1) compatible motherboard. Please ask our sales for more details.
What is the difference between DDR4 and DDR5?
Higher sizes (GB) and higher clock speeds, among other things.
How to tell if the motherboard is DDR4 or DDDR5?
Every manufacturer will indicate this in a different way:
Asus: “D4” with in the model # for DDR4 models.
Gigabyte, MSI: “DDR4” in the model # for DDR4 models
Asrock – As of now (1/14) Asrock does not have a way to distinguish between DDR5 and DDR4 variants through their model numbers.
(If the model # does not have the above, they are DDR5 models)
