Please read the following notes regarding the purchase of the Chromebook:
1) LGUSD strongly encourages parents to purchase an insurance policy for your new Chromebook. The insurance coverage will go into effect when you receive your chromebook through shipping or pick-up in store. The HP Warranty will ONLY cover the mechanical breakdown. HP does NOT include accidental damage or theft.
Mechanical Breakdown – The HP Warranty will cover any manufacturer defect/mechanical breakdown.
Accidental Damage – The School Device Coverage Insurance plan will be a full coverage plan including accidental damage, cracked screen, liquid submersion, fire/flood, loss/theft, manufacturer defects, mechanical breakdowns.
2)The Chromebook will be fully ready for your student to use with their current lgusd.org acct. The product box will be opened because we must register the Chromebook to the school's account, but these will be brand new units. Please indicate the student's name under Comment when checking out.
